I'm sure everyone's heard of these bands before. I was out of the country for a month; cut me some slack.

Nightmare of You - Go into their music section and check out the video for "I Want To Be Buried In Your Backyard" and tell me that they don't sound like The Smiths or The Cure.

Ism - they remind me of.. someone. I can't really place it right now at this hour, but I dig the sound. You can download the "Breathe" radio edit on their website.

The Lashes - well, okay, they're sort of Stroke-like but I like their single, "Sometimes the Sun."

My favorite local station, 102.7 WEQX is currently set up on Yes.com so you can see what they've played on air in the last 24 hours.

Uhm. The ad for the new Rebecca Romajin series (Pepper something?) has music by Morning Wood. Glargh. I really, really hate that band.

Went out grocery shopping and also picked up an FM transmitter to use with my MP3 player. It's got a built in MP3 player that'll play files from a flash drive. According to the directions, it will play files in the order they were copied to the drive, so I think that's probably also what's going on with Harvey. Blergh. That's pretty annoying. I still want to see if I can get it to use playlist files.. and maybe tweak the start up graphic.

Called the boss this afternoon to tell her that I was feeling better and would be in on Monday. Got a call back a little while later telling me that she didn't need me to come in on Monday and would instead seem me on Tuesday. Got a call back after that (because the last one was a message she left) telling me that she didn't know if she'd need me in the morning or the afternoon. *headdesk*

Ordered parts to make the Chaya necklace. Should be here in a week or so. Very, very tempted to buy a new tactical belt and tactical thigh holster to go with my garrison uniform.

I haven't watched Charmed in ages. What the hell is happening on this show? Leo is a pansy (and then disappeared) and there's some new girl named Billy who has a demon sister... the... hell... Ooo... but this episode has Will Snow. *glee* AHAHAHA And they played a Four Star Mary video XD
