Before I get into my fun-filled trip to the doctor, somestuff that everyone and their mother has probably linked already.
Serenity comic mini due out in July from Dark Horse. Looks good.
George Lucas okays Indiana Jones IV script. Uuuhm. Yay?
Neil Gaiman visited the X3 offices and heard complaints about budget and time issues. Oh, lovely.
Devil Doll posted a link to a
SHH report that Matthew Vaughn is dropping off
X-Men 3:
With just nine weeks to go until principal photography starts on X-Men 3, director Matthew Vaughn has exited the 20th Century Fox project for personal reasons. ( more whinging about having to relocate )Uhm. If this is true, how retarded can one man be? And I do not for one minute believe that he's truely heartbroken - suck it up and move to Vancouver. Your entire cast did it twice already, what makes you so special?
Part of me is madly cackling, "hahahaha! YAY!" at the thought of Vaughn not directing while the other part is scared to death that they're going to hire some hack to direct so they can stay on schedule.
My fantasy picks: Joss Whedon or... Vincenzo Natali! :D (Bring back Bryan! *sniffle*)

I just got back from the doctor's where I saw the Physician's Assistant because my primary was sick and the other doctor was busy. Which, is actually okay because I don't really like my primary.
Got there and had the standard chat with the nurse. Turns out I have a low grade fever. Again. Then Karen, the PAC, comes in and I remember her and that she's cool. Run through my gigantor list of ills, including the one I discovered this morning - that I'd lost 8lbs in the last two weeks without having done anything different. Karen tells me that I've been at a consistent weight of 111lbs, which... what? That's sort of not right, except maybe I just weigh less when I'm sick and that's when I go to the doctor.. so... Anyway, there were all the standard doctor questions, including the "are you pregnant?" one which I laugh off because seriously, if I were pregnant? That would be a huge tabloid issue.
She says they're going to test for everything and that she wants me to start taking B-complex stress tabs to see if they help. Then off I go to the next room to get blood drawn - which I absolutely hate. Today, not only do they need two for whatever tests, half the tests need to be sent to different labs, so that's additional three tubes of blood. OMG. That vampire took 5 vials of blood. *cries* Oh, and I was also ordered to go get a chest x-ray so she can check my lymphnodes o_O I don't think that's good...
I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes because I was a little disoriented and tired. Sucks. I was sort of fine this morning but by the time I got to the office I was wiped. WTF? Anyway, I finally headed home and am surprised I made it in one piece. My left arm is
still sort of numb from the blood test and at the time it was pretty well non-functional. I almost hit two cars - one was my fault and the second some jackhole slowed down before trying to cut in front of me. What the hell?? And then I almost drove in the wrong lane. Ooops. I'm making my mother take me to the hospital for the chest x-ray because I am so not driving again today.
Oh, yes. I hate the Latham Circle (read: roundabout). I hate driving it and I hate having to count and hope no one's an idiot and enters while I'm trying to exit. And OMG fucking signal, people!
AHAHAH GREAT. My power just crapped out.
