I-CON 24 report

So.. you know.. one week later I've got my I-CON report. *shrug*

But first, I'd just like to post a link to the greatest wankery I've seen in a long while. I don't even watch Doctor Who or remember seeing any of the old series, but dude: Anyone writing DW slash...which features the Doctor having sex is watching the wrong program. Go play with SG1 or something, cos you clearly haven't a clue what the hell DW is about.

I need to get my mother to pick another radio station. It's really annoying to be woken up by the sounds of the uber-conservated idiots on B95 talking about Bush and religion and OMG we can't wait for the POPE! And how some Pope predicted that there would only be 112 Popes after him and John Paul was number 110 so we are all DOOMED. If that's what you believe, that's cool, but you're supposed to be a secular station. Cut that crap out. Also, the female DJ? Is a complete idiot. I'm not sure she has enough sense to tie her shoes in the morning. Honestly, the way the male DJ talks to her somedays, I think he's this close to smacking her.

How badly I *don't* want to go to work today is amazing. Gah. I would rather stay home and work on art and icons. Because I have some really cracked out icon ideas.

Hm. Had done this meme a long time ago, but one of the people I had in mind at the time has sort of come and gone and I have more people this applies to, so...

Crap. I need to pay for my health insurance >_< *is poor* I almost feel like I should seriously injure myself just to make all these payments worthwhile. $200 a month for what? I don't think I've used the covereage more than twice and it was just for a regular check-up and an antibiotic perscription. Our country's medical system blows.
