groceries; work stuff
Sep. 19th, 2004 11:20 pmThese late night updates are becoming a habit...
Went grocery shopping with mom. Yay, food I'll actually eat. Yogurt and Frosted Flakes. Mmm.. breakfast foods. You know what I had for breakfast this morning? Clams and pasta. That was the breakfast my father cooked. There's something wrong with his brain. Also, he's destroyed every pot, pan, and piece of glassware in the house. There was a puddle of grease in the toaster oven and he's managed to scrape off most of the teflon from our new grill in two uses How does something like that happen?
I've spent the last 3 hours working on my work history stuff and references. All of you just starting to get jobs need this piece of advice: write it all down. Where you worked, their address and phone number, your supervisor's name, how much you made when you started, how much you made when you left, how many hours you worked - all of it. I'm struggling to remember all these details of jobs I had almost 5 years ago.. which doesn't seem like a long time, but really it is.
Think I'm going to make a Darklight icon... if I can find any images.
Time for bed. I've got the interview with Human Resources at 10am and I want to actually be awake and have had a good breakfast before I get there.
ETA: Darklight torrent. Mwahahaha!
