Hrm. So Firefox has a AIM URL handling issue. Oh well. I just set IE to handle that. Not that big of a deal anyway.

Having a nice chat with [livejournal.com profile] hathien about her boyfriend's hotness and (since I don't have a boyfriend) the hotness of Ryan Gosling.

Worked a bit on some cellphone wallpapers since i have about a week left on my Pictavision purchase. They're all badly colored and fugly... but I might be too lazy to fix it. *shrug* Maybe tomorrow. A couple of them came out okay until I tried to change the colors. Hrm.

Tired. going to bed. Tomorrow I'm going to take pictures of the bracelet I'm selling, as well as some bracelets that people I know are selling and want on a website. Also have to code a fic and build the new SignalRoom.net site. Oy. Fun.

Right now, my Firefox title bar says SD-6 Superpanda. *heee*

They still need a name. Or not. Whatever. I know a few of you were interested, so here's the design. This one is made with satin sapphire, which I wasn't able to purchase right now, but if you're interested, I can get them.. you'll just have to wait.

Right. So.. that's clear Swarovski crystal, satin sapphire Swarovski crystal, sterling silver rounds, sterling trigger clasp (much easier to use than a lobster claw) and chain extension. Your extensions will add an extra 1.5" to the length and will be handmade to match.

I'm too lazy to go find my invoice, but I'm pretty sure these are the colors I ordered. Can let you know definitely next week. I've ordered enough for 3 bracelets per color, but can always order more - you'll just need to give me about a week to get them. [edit: I got the e-mail invoice, here are the corrected colors Updated colors]
+ Amethyst
+ Rose
+ Capri Blue
+ Siam (red)
+ Peridot
+ Black Diamond
+ Lt. Satin Sapphire
+ Crystal (all clear crystals)
+ Emerald
+ Tanzanite
+ Aquamarine
+ Violet
+ Satin Sapphire

The price will be $20 per bracelet, first class/airmail shipping included. I can upgrade to USPS Priority for $4. Paypal is preferred for payment, but I will also accept money order, check, or Yahoo!PayDirect.

Anyone interested, please leave a comment here with your color choice and wrist size. I will get back to you with more details. Thanks!

The solution's been discovered! Stupid Micro$hit.

The Problem: Everytime I clicked a link in AIM, I got a dialog box saying "http://www.blahblahsite.bla; program not found." Firefox will load the page anyway, but then you get another box saying "http:// unknown handler" and it asks you to browse to the program. Couldn't get anything but IE to work with it.

So I googled the problem, sifted through some unhelpful forum posts, and stumbled on this LJ entry.

The Solution:
+ Go to My computer->Tools->Folder Options->File Types.
+ Find the entry for "(NONE) URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol" and click Advanced.
+ Edit the entry for the "open" command.
+ In the section for DDE, remove the "IExplore" reference, or disable DDE altogether.

I disabled DDE, because I don't even know what it's for and who cares, really. Works fine without it. AIM links work now. Woo and hoo. Now if only there's a solution to the printing issue...

Erm. NM.. it.. works now. *shrug*

Edit: Removing the DDE option was making Dreamweaver crash when it tried to preview in IE. So.. I made IE the default browser again to get the DDE settings back, then I went back and set Firefox as the default browser. Finally, I went into File Types to edit the Open command for each "URL:xx" type and removed "IExplore" from the application line and replaced it with "Firefox". *phew* Everything works now. Yay.

Edit2: IEs being a little bitch and freezes DW when I try to preview in it. It's apparently a common problem, though I never encountered it befroe. The simple solution is to just open an IE window before you hit preview. *shrug*

To be released this week was the La Femme Nikita Season 2 DVD set. I have a Best Buy ad with it and everything. I went to Amazon to add it to my wish list and the item is listed as out of stock. Uhm.. okay. So I go to the Best Buy site and it's not even there. What the bloody hell? Out of curiostiy, I check eBay and there's a set going for nearly $400... in the seller's description, s/he says that they do have a copy, even though the set has been cancelled. WHA?!

Googled. Found some interesting links at TVShowsOnDVD.com. Warner Bros. just blew a whole lot of money printing sets and mailing them out to retailers and have also pissed off a bunch of fans because... well, no one really knows why.

I might just drift over to Best Buy after work on Tuesday and see if they have it for sale. *hopes*
