Mom wants to take me shopping after work as this is the last day for tax-free clothing purchases. I think I'll be too tired to go, but if I don't make an attempt I'm gonna hear about it next time I buy a shirt or something.

The VartanHos have wimped out are taking the week off. It's not that I care that they're doing it, but there's really no need to be so dramatic. "Disheartening" is not how I would describe the Jen/Michael situation nor how I would describe the Mrs. Vaughn addition. Calm down, people!

There are lots of September birthdays coming up, so I needs to get off my arse and do something for that. In case I forget... Happy Birthday Virgos! :D I might just run around an buy LJ time for people. LOL

Before everything else, because this is insane: NSync fanfiction sold on eBay. For US$265. Yes, that would be for a CD of fanfiction written by.. some fangirl. People are insane. And really, really, stupid.

Long, insanely busy day at work. People were out full force getting their shopping in. Assholes were minimal, surprisingly. Yay.

After work, mom filled me on the wonderful news she got while I was at work. Turns out my father doesn't want to get the Volvo fixed because it would cost $300 and he didn't know that because they were closed. And he thinks we should get rid of it because the brakes don't work and it's unsafe. He told the mechanic that it's "not safe for his wife and daughter." However... he's leaving in the morning. Guess who gets to bring the Volvo back to our house? My mother. Gee, thanks, you asshole. It's not safe and the brakes don't work, but yeah, tell my mom to go pick it up. The only other car that sort of works is up in the mountains and he's going to drive his shiny $30,000 car to the city. GLARGH.

So to avoid going home, mom went to Marshalls and seijitataki and I went to Target. Bad idea. All that money I didn't spend at B&N? Yeah... bought "Grosse Point Blank" and "Brotherhood of the Wolf" on DVD.. and three Bionicle Lego set things >_< I am such a toy geek. But they're so cool! And are full articulated! And.. and... I'm a dork.

My father came in just now asking me what I wanted for my birthday. (I wonder who told him?) I said I wanted his bloody head on a platter didn't want anything. He then told me he would write me a check. Wow. How.. personal. That's what you get a relative who you don't know. Gee. Thanks. Not that I'm surprised. I told him I didn't need his money. He kept insisting and then asked if I had any money. Uhm, yes. Yes I do. So I once again told him to shove it I didn't need his money and he went away.

Right now he's outside watching the 24 marathon on FX. He hasn't done anything else all day and I guess he's hooked on the show. Which is all well and good, except he hasn't done a damn thing and he's complaining about having to do everything! GRRRR. I have no idea how long this marathon is, so he could be there all night. Great.

I'm starving but I'm afraid to go to the kitchen. I think he's chopping something. *freaks*
