Crashing....

.. is so not even the word for what just happened to my computer. Black screens, blue screens, white boxes, grey boxes... I thought the thing might blow up or something. On restart, I got a kernel32 error with explorer. That's always good. A second restart seems to have fixed it for now.

Of course, I'm not entirely free of blame... my poor little system can't really handle AOL, Dreamweaver, WinAmp, IE, and me opening and closing Photoshop three or four times all at once. Poor thing :-P

Another check with the list:

+ code pages for fic archive
+ find new location of DMV
+ print another copy of my itinerary
+ find out what's on when so my brother can tape stuff for me
+ make site templates
+ pack to go back to Oneonta

Oh, and good news - I don't have to move to Golding. Housing decided that was a frelled idea, so we can now just move into our permanent assignments. Not that I care... my RD was going to let me stay in the building anyway ^_^

Time to Ireland: 26 hours

My computer just pulled another explorer.exe crash. I wasn't even using the stupid thing. Hopefully updated virus definitions will take care of it. If not... XP I will go...

Should go and finish that packing thing. Hopefully my dad won't be an ass about taking me to the airport tomorrow at a respectable time. We'll probably leave the house around 10 and then he'll want to go to his sister's house and hang out for a bit. He wanted to take me to the MOMA or some shit. My flight is at 7pm, which means I should be there around 4pm. If we leave the house at 10am (ha!) we won't even get near JFK until nearly 2pm, depending on traffic. I bet we don't even leave until 11 or 11:30...

Yeah, this is going to go well...
