What day is tomorrow?

Valentine's Day is great. The day is fulled with love and pressies and hugs from people you love the most. Boyfriends and potential boyfriends send you gifts and do wonderfully "aww" worthy things.

Not that I would know a damn thing about that last one from first hand experience. Hell, I don't even get that first part anymore. It's just another boring, depressing holiday where I am reminded that I'll probably be single for the rest of my life. So while everyone around me is getting gifts from boyfriends, girlfriends, parents, friends... I have jack shit and I am reminded of it everytime someone shows me their goodies.

But I'm not bitter.

Joy...

I thought today was gonna be a good day, yah know? OLA1 sighting. Potential chattage. I skipped Painting class and the Prof didn't even care. Told me it was an excused absence. *shrug*

But no. It's freezing cold outside (my semi-damp hair froze on a two minute walk to class). The internet connection in my room crapped out on me (which is why I am in a lab). Something about an IP & hardware address conflict. Thankfully, Jeff (Jeff is a god *g*) is sending me the dhcp patch. Stupid Windows 98. ::kicks Windows::

Also, people who I usually like talking to are being annoying. So much so that I want to smack them and say "Shut the hell up." Not that I don't like them anymore, it's just they're getting on my nerves today. It's like the teacher from Peanuts. Ugh.

Oh, and there is a weird guy here that keeps staring at me. I... don't know why. I think he's a prospective student.

Had a tarot reading with Jen. She didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, but it was cool that she picked up on the fact that I'm going "on a trip.. west... something that begins with 'C'"? That'd be Siggraph in Texas. Um, apparently she sees this being an expensive trip. More so that I thought. Over a $1000. Ouchies.

I'm tired. I'm going to bed, but my day is not complete without quizzes..
