Had an interesting day. I skipped ET Intell so I could gesso paper for Painting I. (Which later runed out to be a half-arsed idea as the guy I was going to get the notes from didn't go either.)
Then it decided to rain the entire time I was downtown. And it was windy, so it sucked more. I hate overcast and rainy days. The bus went past my stop so I had to back track and I couldn't really find anything that I needed at the stores I went to. Which is always sucky. I did pick up some used CDs - a gag gift for Claire, Dave Nevarro's solo album, and one by, uh.. Viggo Mortensen. ::hangs head:: I know, I know, but I couldn't resist. It was too funny! Haven't listened to it yet... Back to the pain: I missed the bus like three times. And I was starving, so I went to Gina's Cafe and bought a fruit salad to tide me over. It was pretty gross.
Okay, so I finally manage to catch the bus and when I get back to the dorm, I have a slip telling me that I have a package at Netzer, which closes at 4... it was 10 til 4. So I booked ass to Netzer and make it just as they're about to close. *phew* It was the set of
Big-O VCDs I won. Very cool anime I only saw one episode of. Oh yes, also got the Emmy Nomination voter thingy copy of
Buffy's season 5 ep, "The Body".
Kind of want to go to
Siggraph 2002 this year. Because I should and it has to do with my career choice. But.. Texas. Eww. But then there's the free stuff the vendors give out. Hmm..
I need to buy a cloak. Or learn to sew so I can make one... just like the Fellowship wore in LoTRs. Yeah, I'm obsessive. So what?
