Uhm. So I'm watching "Rising" again and I just had a thought. There are 7 chevrons on both the Earth gate and the Atlantis gate. How do you lock 8 symbols for intergtalaxy travel? Does the top one relock on another symbol? Hmmmm?

I very, very, badly do not want to go to work. Meh. Also, I never heard back from that place I applied to. Wonder if I should fax them all my stuff saying I didn't know if they got the e-mail or not. Would that seem too over eager? *shrug*

Meh. I need to go get ready. I just spent all morning burning files off Talyn so I could get some more space. On the plus side, I've now got two more audio CDs to play in my car :-P Right. Work. Going. Need to leave a bit early to go get some gas so I can get home. Heh.

i'd say fax them. cos in this great internet age, things get lost so easily, and if they didn't send you even a line that it WAS received, you REALLY don't know. so i'd just call it through.

There are 8 chevrons on each gate. The 8th Chevron is on the bottom. The part we don't see. I never really paid attention to the orbiting Stargates on Atlantis I think those have eight Chevrons too.

Okay, the Earth gate might have an 8th Chevron on the bottom (since it is actually round) but the Atlantis gate is embedded into the floor. Isn't it...?

Yeah, it is embedded to the floor, I guess its still at the bottom.

Maybe the floor is removable and Altantis team hasn't figure that out yet!

Woohoo! I also included some extras because there was so much extra space left on the first DVD. So, you've also got David Hewlett's movie "Nothing" and the pilot Joe Flanigan was in (which I would have totally watched if it were a series).
