I didn't know he didn't live in the house anymore -- that's good, I guess. Your poor mom though, she's so sweet and level-minded.
I have to admit, one of the best things about being away from home is that I don't have to deal with it. Luckily, dad helps me out a bit with money, but then I don't have to listen to the arguing and stress and the tangibleness of it all in the room; it's enough to make my blood pressure go to 120/90, I bet. But at least I get the sense of knowing that neither of my parents is really a jerk -- mom's just ill and my father is easily stresable/picky.
Anyhow, I'm hoping their new house might be a little more spacious; whenever I go home now I feel stifled and usually am crying by day 2.
But, as I bet you feel too, I cannot wait until that day, about 3 years from now for me, when I get my first paycheck and take financial control of my life! It will feel great to be independent even in that facet of life . . .
Okay. Just know I'm thinking of you.

ps. Mao loves you even though he's never met you: he just requested to chew on your 1st metacarpal. He thinks all 1st metacarpals have a nice consistency, and I told him about your polmolive-commerical-worthy hands ;) He promises not to break your skin . . . probabaly
